TYPES OF PRINTS

Open Edition Print
This type of print is printed on a fine art quality paper stock.  The main difference between a Open Edition prints and a Limited Edition prints is the Open print has no limit  on the quantity number of prints that are produced from the original.    With an image size of approximately 10 inches by 14 inches with an overall size of 12 inches by 16 inches.  Each print is personally signed by the artist.

Limited Edition Print

This type of print reproduction has a specific number of prints that will be allowed to be produced from the original and the quantity is established in advance of printing and can not be exceeded.   The paper stock in 100 lbs weight or more and acid free.  Limited Editions have a recognized value on the world market due to the artist's renowned reputation and collect ability.  Once the Edition is sold out it can not be reproduced thus the increases in value on the art market.  The   image size of 17 1/4 by inches by 21 3/4 inches with an overall size  of 21 inches by 25 1/2 inches.  Each print is individually embossed, numbered and personally signed by the artist. A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each print.

Countersigned Limited Edition Print
This type of print is a Limited edition and in addition to the artist's signature, it will have a individual golf champion winners' signatures or another well known personality.  A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this type of print too.

Official Limited Edition
This type of print is classified as Official because if is a branded prints for a Major Golf Tournament such as the British Open, the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup, World Golf Championships, Kraft Nabisco Championship and the Solheim Cup to name a few.

Giclee Print
Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) are prints produced on artist quality canvas, using pigmented-based light fast inks. Their process of printing has become the leading method of producing exceptionally high quality fine art reproductions. The quality of each print is extremely high and reflects favorable the beauty and texture of the original work.  Mr. Baxter oversees each giclee production personally to insure the integrity of the image and color.  Each print is individually numbered and personally signed on the back of the canvas by the artist.  the giclee is accompanied by a giclee booklet incorporating the description of the original painting, Giclee process, how to care for the giclee and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Canvas sizes can range from 18 x 24, 20 x 30, 24 x 36, 30 x 46 and 40 x 60. Larger canvas size on request.

FRAMES

Open Edition Frame:        3/4 inch Classic Mahogany with golf lip  and acid free green or 

                                         cream colored Mat

Limited Edition Frame:     2 3/8 inch Simple dark wood w/golf lip and acid free green 

                                         or cream Mat.  Optional fabric mat at additional  cost.

Ryder Cup Edition Frame: Same as Limited Edition

Specific frame upgrades on request

Open Edition Prints
All the Open Edition Prints are individually signed by the artist.
 

Larger Open Edition Ryder Cup Prints
Each print bears the Official Ryder Cup logo of the venue and is signed by Graeme W Baxter, Official artist to the PGA and Ryder Cup committees. Prints normally have the signature of the European Team Captain too.
